With a background as a Marine, firefighter, and EMT, as well as multiple certifications in nutrition, health coaching, and personal training, Tom brings a unique blend of skills and experiences to his clients. His background and ongoing education (nutrition based pre-med) make him a valuable resource for clients and coaches alike. He is dedicated to helping people unlock their inner power and achieve their health and fitness goals.

With her professional background in technology and certification in personal training and wellness, she is able to wear many hats while keeping things running smoothly on a day-to-day basis and keep us on course for the long haul. As a certified wellness coach, she is passionate about helping others achieve their health and wellness goals.

    A mental health therapist by trade, I became a NASM Certified Personal Trainer (2017) and USA Boxing Coach (2020) to expand the way I can help others. I was contracted through the state of NJ to create youth boxing programs for incarcerated juveniles & high risk teens. I also working with everyday people who want to learn a new skillset & rediscover their inner fighter. My approach to coaching is to keep it simple & master the basic skills needed before progressing onward. Come into training with an open mind, leave a bit more improved & always have fun!

    Don has been in the fitness industry as a trainer and group exercise instructor since 2012. He's worked at multiple gyms and studios, and enjoys learning new techniques, movements, and relevant information. Don uses functional movements and exercises as a way to build up fitness for real life, and he's passionate about helping others achieve a healthy lifestyle. Don enjoys obstacle course racing, gardening, and cooking, and loves coming up with creative workouts to challenge clients in different ways.

    I’ve been an athlete my whole life, but right before COVID I discovered my true passion for fitness—and it completely changed me. From running and lifting to walking and everything in between, I love moving in any way I  can. With a degree in Exercise Science, I’m excited to keep learning and growing while helping others reach their own goals. I believe the key to success is starting with the basics—understanding the “why” and building a strong foundation—before pushing into bigger challenges. Outside of training, I love playing ultimate frisbee, traveling, and finding fun ways to stay active no matter where I am. Fitness has given me so much, and I can’t wait to share that same energy and passion with others.

    My passion for fitness started as just a hobby back when I was only 16 but turned into a passion. Today I hold a B.S. in Kinesiology from Penn State University with a background in physical therapy. I am a Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Nutrition Coach through National Academy of Sports Medicine. I have competed in one show (Summer Shredding Classic) and took 1st place for my class.

    Fitness is my passion! Being able to do this as a profession is a dream come true. I love helping people create a sustainable lifestyle as well as fitness goals such as losing weight, building muscle, increase mobility, and overall confidence. Nothing makes me happier than seeing you succeed. I am friendly and personable and would love to get to know each and everyone of you!

    I am excited to join the NuYu fitness family and embark on our fitness journey together. I have a B.S in Kinesiology from University of Maryland, and M.S. degrees in Athletic Training and Physician Assistant Studies. I have been working in health and wellness for over 15 years in various capacity including but not limited to personal training and group fitness. I truly believe exercise is medicine and I am looking forward to getting fit for life with you all.
